Late halloween?
craftiness and other things
I have been a little crafty lately.. I've actually finished several project but I haven't photo documented everything. But today I feel like sharing some of my projects.. and most likely a bunch of photos of my favorite little guy.
Last weekend our 2 sweet nieces were celebrated. Eline turned 8 and was baptised and her baby sister Silje was blessed and named.
Eline has asked me ages ago if I would make her a purse out of paper.. you know the kind.. the candy wrapper purse. I had told her that I didn't know how (and I knew that it's a rather slow process). I had tried part of the process before (I made a bracelet) but I decided to 'youtube' the entire purse making process. Youtube was a great help, and I jumped into making my first paper purse ever. The result is not perfect but Eline was very pleased, and so was I.
The entire family from Norway came down for the celebrations, so we had a busy but fun weekend with the family. Adam loved, loved, loved spending time with (being chased around by) all of his cousins. (below with cousin Leo)

For baby Silje I had the chance to use my "new" (I got it for my birthday in June) butterfly paper punch to make a paper mobile.
My earlier mobiles have had problems with the wooden sticks I used as the hanger. I made a star of 3 sticks, but the had a tendency to shift, because my tying skills apparently are lacking greatly. This time I tried making a triangle instead. It proved a lot easier for me to to tie 2 sticks together at a time, than 3.
I used fishing line so the butterflies really looked like flying. The entire family from Norway came down for the celebrations, so we had a busy but fun weekend with the family. Adam loved, loved, loved spending time with (being chased around by) all of his cousins. (below with cousin Leo)

I'm a hopeless party-photographer I forget taking pictures. So I don't even have a picture of baby Silje. But she was there too.. cute as a button.
