Garden of abundance

Adam loves the tiny sweet carrots.
Our tiny garden has brought us great joy. I have loved watching everything grow, and I truly enjoy sitting in my sofa at night looking at  my garden through our living room window. I often take a small walk around the garden to look how things are coming along, removing a weed here and there, and pinching of the small new leaves of the tomato plants.
We have eaten and given away more lettuce that I ever thought possible. We munch on a small carrot now and then, I've used a coupe of the red onions for nice salads and we've eaten all the peas and the strawberries the birds left us.
My tomatoes are coming along - I do fear the taste though. The sun has now given lots of warmth and sweetness to them, but I'll eat them anyways.

Today!
The red onions are laid to dry.

Weirdo!
The garden is not at all perfect - and it definitely is a learning process, but it's a lot of fun, and I'm sure that next year the tomatoes will be sweet, the strawberries numerous, and the carrots will be big.

*HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEDSTEMOR WE LOVE YOU*
