Today is a national holiday, so I had the day off. Instead we spend the day working at home.
Wednesday, I had mentioned to my Mr. that I had been considering switching Adam's room the our spare room. The rooms are practically identical except for Adam's room has a door out to the balcony, and the other room just has a normal window. But because of the door, I found it difficult to decorate the room properly, and because Adam isn't actually using his room yet (except for the changing table) we had a tendency to use it more for storage and for drying our laundry. Because the room had access to the balcony it was easy to take the drying rack in or out on the balcony (depending on the weather).
Our spare room had a work table (I never use.. I take all my stuff down to the living room), a guest bed, shelves and bookcases (plus a lot of other random things) but no room for the drying rack.
I had just mentioned the idea to my Mr. and he didn't seem über convinced. But yesterday when I came home from work, he had started taking down the shelves and preparing the move. Today we did the big move. Both rooms are now furnished, and even though I even sometimes doubted the idea, because it seems a bit silly changing when the rooms are practically identical, I'm so happy we (mostly Michael.. I was keeping little mister-all-over-the-place away) did it. Adam's room is much more harmonious and there's room for a little play area, and because we took away the work table in the spare room, we now have room for the drying rack in there. Who knows... maybe Adam will start sleeping in his own room soon.
I'll post pictures later.. but there's still some things that needs sorting and fixing. I'll post pictures later.
For now you can enjoy a picture of our Tiny Mister
