Creative blogger convention

Saturday I had the great pleasure of attending a small Creative Blogger Convention. I don't consider myself a Creative Blogger, I'm just a blogger who occasionally blog about my few creative projects.. or about creative projects I find inspiring. But my good friend Lone (who IS a creative blogger) was the woman behind the convention, and she invited me.

We were about 40 bloggers gathered and some of them had set up stands where they sold either creative supplies (like yarn, fabric, crocheting needles and so forth). There were workshops where we could learn new crafts and ideas, there was food and there were goody-bags (yay)

I learned to make bracelets out of paper and packaging tape (if I had the patience I could even add to the bracelet and make a small handbag - cool huh?).
There were also owl-making (both in painting and in patchwork), and stump-work learning, and knitting/crochet help and a class where we could learn to make bracelets out of old maps.

One of the other bloggers  - unikarina brought several rolls of beautiful fabric, and we could take all the fabric we could use, we only had to promise that we would use it and maybe even give a donation to Japan. I only took a bit - but I have a couple of ideas already, I'll hopefully post a super creative blog-posts in honor of the Creative Blogger Convention.
Lone had everything under control, and her sweet husband and her good friend (and owner of the venue) helped with all the practical thing.... and they made the delicious food.

It was a fun and interesting day.... and by the way the longest I had been away from Adam (it was before the trip to Germany... it seems I'm making a habit out of leaving my kid - poor baby!).

Lone is quite the party-planner, and I'm sure that she has used a lot of  time and talents to find sponsors, arrange and invite, she never does anything half-heartedly.

Goodness gracious. Næste gang skal jeg med, ja? Ja?

Og jeg ser frem til din flettede håndtaske : )

Det ser fantastisk ud, og hvor må det have været spændende!
