Almost every Sunday at church he asks us two things.
Question #1: Do you have any gum?
Question #2: Can I go home with you after church?
We almost always have gum (sometimes we pretend not to, but it's a rare Sunday where Adrian leaves the church gum-less).
The other question is too often answered with a 'No, not today'. It's not because we don't want to have him over, Sunday is just one of those days... you know... Adam's naps are interrupted, and we're tired and we almost always go to my parent's house in the afternoon for dinner.
But last Sunday we finally made a plan for Adrian to come visit us during the week. We agreed on Wednesday ('Wednesday... it that tomorrow?') being the best day. So yesterday at 2.15pm the three of us went to Adrian's kindergarten to pick him up.
We hadn't planned anything in particular (even though Adrian was hoping to go to McDonald's) but we stayed home. Adrian played a bit with Adam and uncle Mike, saw part of a movie, entertained me in the kitchen and just hung out.

He was very interested in dinner, and he got to chose if he wanted broccoli or belled pepper with his pasta and chicken (peppers!). He didn't like the white sauce (apparently it was lumpy) but he ate his (dry) pasta, chicken and belled peppers with much delight. He even tasted a prune (Adam's dessert).. (me: 'It's just like a giant raisin') He got pop sickles for dessert (left over warm summer day (ahhh) pop sickles from our freezer).
Adam was very interested in his cousin, and he really was looking at him all the time, except for when the camera appeared - *smile*.
I hope Adrian had a nice afternoon, we enjoyed having him over.. and I'm sure Adam did as well.
