Sunday Best

A package should have arrived at the Brandt household today. I took me a while to get the package out the door and the reason is not that I just couldn't get around to shipping it of, no, this is just a prove of my horrific lack of fantasy.
The thing is, Lene is an amazing gift giver - she just has the ability to put a face on all the cute things she sees around her. I imagine Lene thinking this to herself when spotting a cupcake shaped lip gloss:

Lene: "ah, that cupcake shaped lip gloss would be perfect for Nathalie"

If it were me, I would think:
Nathalie: "ah, a fun cute cupcake shaped lip gloss, how fun.......
.......
......
hmmm... maybe I should buy it.....
.....
It could be a gift to someone.....
.......
......
Uh, Maybe Lene would like it....
but wait, maybe Lene doesn't like cupcake shaped lip glosses, maybe she would prefer a brownie shaped one...
wait, does Lene use lip gloss? I'll better not buy it......."


What I'm trying to say is, that in a very short amount of time I have received two very cute and thoughtful packages from Lene (1 was also from the hobby club). And I really want to send her cute and pretty and thoughtful things, but all I could come up with was the gift for the boys. For weeks I've tried to look around to find more things to put in package, but yesterday I gave up and mailed the gift only containing these:

I wanted white t-shirts, but I couldn't find any... anywhere. Until the other day that is. In H&M (the shop I almost always shop in - but didn't think to look in) I found perfect long sleeved t-shirts - so Lene, if you like the style but want the"white shirts and tie look" for your boys, I'll make them for you.

I just made one for Adam yesterday, and I would have finished one for another friend if Adam had slept last night as he had promised me he would. But I'll let you see the work in progress:

(The tie is ironed on, but not sown on yet). Aren't they cute though? Not a original patented Nathalie-idea, but more a combination of this and this.

I have made onesies with ties before, but I can't seem to find the pictures I've taken (and too lazy to take new ones... and Adam has out grown them already).

(post edit - the lip gloss came in the package from the entire hobby-club, as it turns out Maria is a great gift-finder-giver as well (thank u M.). The lip gloss was just used as an example of the conversation that  goes on in my head be it Lene, Maria, Louise, Michael or anyone else I want to surprise with a little gift)
